The central city''s information and communications department has issued
an alert over a computer virus called Ransomwar, after new viruses
affected personal computers of several businesses early this month.
The central city has launched the Information Technology infrastructure system, which includes a Metropolitan Area Network,
wireless internet, data centre and a centre for human training and
research on IT applications.
